MULTI THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS SERVER CHANGES

DAYZ SERVER
- Added local mute feature. Enter /IGNORE <name> and you will no longer see that player's messages in global or admin chat, or their private messages to you.
- Added /changepassword command, which changes your login password for the server.
- Levelling players will no longer receive XP for vehicle mileage.
- Levelling players will now receive 10 XP for entering each named zone for the first time each month.

MULTI THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS SERVER CHANGES

DAYZ SERVER
- Murder announcements now show the remaining blood of the killer. You can stop your blood showing when you commit murders by entering /HIDEMURDERBLOOD.
- Clarice will now explain how to use tent extensions when somebody asks.
- Made several fixes and improvements to the lag detection and compensation system.
- Added a second Vortex, Predator and Squalo, and a Tropic.

We've had to restore the forums from a backup made back in July, so we've lost a lot of change log entries. You can still see all previous entries on our Facebook page though.


MULTI THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS SERVER CHANGES

DAYZ SERVER
- Fixed bug which allowed players to do damage by punching with a parachute equipped.
- Los Santos and Las Venturas gyms are now "melee zones", where guns cannot be used. This is really only half an idea and I'm honestly not sure what the point is yet, but there will be one ;)
- The inventory and scroll menu are now properly cleared when entering a vehicle or using a teleporter (entrances to interiors, etc.).
- The Seasparrow can no longer fire when its engine is turned off or disabled.
- Party Bombs can now be used while in PvP combat, though they still do not affect players in PvP combat, and no longer affect players with less than 9000 blood.
- Animations such as prone, sit, etc. can no longer be used while in the air if you are flagged as in PvP combat.
- /PACKINTENT command added, which allows you to put your currently equipped backpack in a tent. If you are holding more than 8 slots' worth of items, you will need to drop some first.


GARRY's MOD SERVER CHANGES

- Cinema and Trouble in Terrorist Town servers migrated to new dedicated server.
- Prop Hunt and Sandbox servers discontinued.


OTHER SERVER CHANGES

- Age of Chivalry server migrated to new dedicated server.
- Zombie Panic! Source server created (still a work in progress).

MULTI THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS SERVER CHANGES

DAYZ SERVER
- Players can no longer use medical supplies while falling.
- Fatal falls will now kill the player instantly, instead of causing them to bleed out over a few seconds.
- Tents inside VIP bases will now only despawn if left untouched for 2 years (excluding tents that have never been used), but VIP Members will be notified hourly if any of the tents in their base have been unused for 180 days or longer. If you receive this notification, please check the tents listed to help declutter the server.
- Added the time trial course from the Freeroam server. The course starts at -2813,-466,6, at the Missionary Hill crossroads (you need to be in a land vehicle to see the marker). Players will receive 2 XP for each checkpoint reached, rather than money, adding up to a total of 200 XP if the course is completed. There is a leaderboard for the time trial, awarding the same daily prizes as other leaderboards.


OTHER SERVER CHANGES

- WyeSoft Game Servers are now split into two groups: 24/7 Servers and On-Demand Servers. The on-demand servers are turned off most of the time to save resources, but can be started up from the server list page by anyone with a WSID. This means we can have a lot more servers installed without wasting resources on them when they are not in use.
- Servers for the following games have been changed to on-demand servers:
-- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
-- Counter-Strike: Source
-- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
-- Left 4 Dead 2
- New on-demand servers have been created for the following games:
-- Don't Starve Together
-- Killing Floor
-- Killing Floor 2
-- Terraria (2 servers with separate worlds)
-- Trouble In The Manor

MULTI THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS SERVER CHANGES

DAYZ SERVER
- Level display on HUD and level-up announcements in chat now include prestiged levels.
- Clarice's reply when asked for the time now includes seconds.
- While running the time trial course, players are now protected against most road obstructions.

BOTH SERVERS
- Passengers of players running the time trial course will now see the centred time trial status messages. This includes players glued to the vehicle.

- Damaging a vehicle carrying enemy players will now flag the relevant players as in PvP combat.
- Slightly optimised PvP combat code. This may reduce combat lag a little.
- Improved fresh spawn detection used for determining whether a dead player will leave a corpse, and whether a player can be damaged by the Seasparrow.
- Added protection against VIP base campers.

MTA:DAYZ - BOTH SERVERS
- Optimised netcode some more, hopefully reducing lag all round.
- Hopefully fixed a bug which sometimes caused players to spawn as a bandit.

MTA:DAYZ - PVE-ONLY SERVER
- Added rare ghillie suit-wearing zombie. These spawn with 10 times as much health as normal zombies, but award a minimum of 100 XP (shared between nearby gang members) when killed. When killed, they also drop a gun with ammo and a backpack, and they have a 50% chance of dropping a ghillie suit. Ghillie zombies are not affected by party bombs, but are affected by EMPs.
- Increased the range of zombies' sight and hearing to 1.5 times their usual ranges.
- Ghillie suits now make the player less visible to zombies (cancels out the above sight range increase).
- Killing 300 zombies in one life now turns the player into a "slayer", which is equivalent to a bandit on the PvP-enabled server and uses the same skins.

MTA:DAYZ - BOTH SERVERS
- Players now appear in leaderboards after playing on the server for 10 hours (down from 20 hours).
- The /gang command now shows if a gang member is participating in the time trial or a war zone event.
- Camouflage zombies now have a higher chance of dropping a hunting knife or a hatchet when killed.
- Levelling players can now change the colour of the XP bar with /xpbarcl.
- Fixed a bug which turned full gas canisters into empty ones when they were placed in the inventory of a helicopter crash.

MTA:DAYZ - PVE-ONLY SERVER
- Tactical insertions now activate instantly.
- Default XP bar colour changed to cyan, so that it's easy to tell the two servers apart by looking at the HUD. (The default colour codes for both servers are shown as examples in the help panel, so players can easily change the bar back to purple if they prefer.)

MTA:DAYZ - BOTH SERVERS
- Shop points can now be transferred from one server to the other. To transfer points, log into the server you want to transfer them from and enter /TRANSFERPOINTS followed by the amount you want to transfer. The points will be taken from the account you are logged into on the current server, and you will be given a voucher code to enter on the other server in order to receive them. The voucher code can take up to 1 minute to be activated on the other server.

MTA:DAYZ - PVE-ONLY SERVER
- The Seasparrow now respawns 30 minutes after being destroyed, like all other vehicles.
